Ugandan Soap Production Project: Progress!

John Emilio from Sustainable Missions International just sent us a great update with a few photos from our local soap production initiative in Uganda! Read his update below:

David and Daniel,

I was just told by Andrew in Uganda that they have made 3,500 bars of soap so far, almost halfway to the 8,000 bar total.  This is quite an accomplishment given the primitive conditions.  It is also the dry season there, so they literally have to pray for rain in order to continue making the soap with clean water.  I love the photo below with the pile of soap bars!

John

We are having so much fun seeing what is happening in Uganda with this project and will continue to share as we get updates!
